Running was a place where I felt like I belonged. It is a journey of highs and lows. As a coach, I want my athletes to feel like they belong in a community. My approach to coaching is building a relationship first before we get to the nitty and gritty.
I am a huge believer in modifying, resting, and moving things around when needed because we are all going through the different waves of life.
My goal is for you to believe you can achieve your goals in running and in making movement a lifetime hobby.

Jenny Easterberg
Competitive Runner, Running coach, Caretaker, Cat mom
At one point, I was told I would never walk again. Since then, I’ve run 5 marathons and over 100 other races. A decade ago, trail running became my passion, though I love and appreciate road and track work as well.
Everyone’s journey is as different as their motivations, and goals must start somewhere. Whether it’s taking those first steps of introductory running and having an open mind, increasing your 1600 time, running the Wonderland Trail or anything in-between, I will help you achieve it. I will help you reach your running goals, gain mastery and be a part of an amazing community.
The first step in achieving your goal is letting me know what it is. I’ll be looking forward to your email and assisting you with your journey.

Running was not my favorite sport growing up, but it has evolved to be a core part of my identity. I ran cross country and track in high school and loved every moment, but still wasn’t convinced it was “my sport.” I found myself stumbling onto a collegiate team here in Seattle and ended up running and competing in the NCAA for four years. Now, I cannot imagine my life any other way.
After graduating college, I wasn’t sure where to go next, but trail running found me. Over the last four years I have continued to jump into track races, road marathons, and cross country seasons, but my focus has shifted to pursuing my potential as a trail athlete as well as fostering stewardship and community in the trail running world.
As a coach I am focused on the wholistic wellbeing of my athletes. I believe that the body only knows stress as “stress” — no matter it be work stress, relationship stress, or stress from mileage, and that all of this stress needs to be accounted for in training. My goal is to promote longevity in the sport by placing an emphasis on JOY! You should be having fun with your training, even on the hardest days :)

Nance Taller
Run Coach / Lifelong Running Advocate / Postpartum Support
I'm Nance, a run coach passionate about helping athletes of all levels build a healthy, lifelong relationship with running. I believe in the fundamentals, in training smart, and - most importantly - in helping athletes understand the "why" behind every step of their plan. My goal is to support sustainable progress that keeps you injury-free, motivated, and connected to the joy of running for years to come!
While I work with runners of all levels and stages, I have a special place in my heart for postpartum athletes. I've lived both ends of the spectrum - running the Boston Marathon within a year of giving birth, and also navigating a much longer return where it took over two years to feel like myself again. Those experiences shaped my belief that every new mom deserves grace, guidance, and a coach who truly understands what it's like to rebuild from the inside (and ground) up.
Whether you're chasing a PR, returning after a life change, or just trying to find your rhythm again, I'm here to help you feel strong, confident, and supported - one run at a time.

For me, running is a way to ground myself, foster meaningful friendships, and experience a sense of accomplishment with every stride, no matter how big or small. It’s an ongoing journey of self-discovery. As a coach, my goal is to help you find joy in your running, build your confidence, and reach your personal milestones.
My journey as an athlete began as a varsity rower at the University of Portland, where I competed in NCAA Division 1 rowing. After college, I transitioned to long-distance running and triathlons. Since completing my first marathon in 2018, I’ve continued to improve, running a personal best of 2:45 in the 2024 Chicago Marathon.
In addition to my experience as an athlete, I have a Master Degree in Clinical Nutrition. I believe that proper nutrition plays a crucial role in performance, recovery, and injury prevention. My coaching combines smart training, sustainable nutrition, and a focus on enjoying the process, so you can achieve your goals while maintaining balance in your life.
Ultimately, my mission as a coach is to help you feel empowered, capable, and balanced—so you can not only achieve your running goals but also build a lasting relationship with fitness that serves you for life.
